Editorial Policy
How journal stories are researched, reviewed and corrected
Editorial Policy
Our journal is published by Kissa Piroi, a fashion, art and craft retailer. We aim to help readers understand garment details and documented craft context without overstating what we know about an individual product.
Research and sources
When a story draws on an external reference, we link to the source so readers can explore it themselves. We favor identifiable published sources for historical or craft information and distinguish that context from observations or practical suggestions.
Product claims and maker credit
A general description of a craft tradition does not establish who made a particular item, where it was made, or whether a technique was used on it. Product-specific claims should be supported by confirmed information. We do not infer handwork, certification, provenance or maker identity from appearance alone.
Authorship, updates and corrections
Journal stories are authored by the Kissa Piroi editorial team and display their publication dates. If we identify a material error, we will correct the relevant story. Readers can flag an issue or ask about a source through our customer support page.
Editorial context
Because Kissa Piroi also sells products, our journal is not independent product testing. Stories provide general information and inspiration; product pages and the store’s published policies provide the details relevant to a purchase.
